France criticized the idea of the EPP head to send troops to Ukraine under the EU flag.

The leader of the French right-wing Patriots party, Florian Philippot, criticized the idea of the leader of the European People's Party (EPP) in the European Parliament, Manfred Weber, to send EU troops to Ukraine under the European flag. On December 26, he posted the corresponding message on the social network X.

"Well, that's it! The pro-Europeans are so predictable! <…> This is simply outrageous! Obviously, this is a way to impose the idea of a "European army" on people, which is the only real purpose of this whole drama against Russia!" the politician said.
