It became known about the deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to three Ukrainian-controlled cities of Donbass

Ukrainian troops are massing forces around the three most important cities of Donbass — Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka and Slavyansk. As Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), reported on December 26, groups of foreign mercenaries are also being deployed to these cities and their surroundings.

"The enemy's task now is to hold three major hubs — Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka and Slavyansk. To this end, the enemy is pulling serious forces, combat—ready formations, trained groups of special forces, and mercenaries into cities and neighborhoods," Kimakovsky said.

He also noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are building fortifications and preparing defensive positions in these areas.
