On December 25, the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan published an interim report on the investigation of the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) aircraft, which occurred near Aktau in December 2024.

"Conclusions about the causes(s) of the accident and/or contributing factors, as well as recommendations on flight safety, will be set out in the Final Report," the agency's official website says.

At the moment, according to interim data, the aircraft was damaged by striking elements of the warhead, but their origin has not been established. The examination found no traces of explosives on board. The crash investigation Commission also decrypted the recordings from the flight recorders, added "Газета.Ru ".
