The Gagarinsky District Court of Moscow turned the property of the former deputy governor of the Rostov Region, Minister of Transport Vladimir Okunev, his former deputy Svetlana Shapovalova and their relatives into state revenue. This was reported on December 24 on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office.

"It has been established that Okunev, together with Shapovalova, used their position to illegally enrich themselves and their relatives," the publication says.

The state's revenue includes 36 real estate properties in Moscow and the Rostov region, five apartments in luxury residential complexes, as well as 25 trucks and premium vehicles worth more than 600 million rubles. Over 100 million rubles, equivalent to the sold property, were recovered from the treasury. The court's decision is subject to immediate execution.
