Almost 500 cultural heritage sites in Moscow have been taken under protection since the beginning of the year.

Since the beginning of 2025, 483 cultural heritage sites have been placed under state protection in Moscow. This was announced on Wednesday, December 24, by the press service of the Moscow Department of Cultural Heritage.

According to the agency, the objects are included in the Unified State Register and have significant architectural, historical and memorial value. kp.ru .

The list includes, in particular, the Revolution Square metro station (including above-ground lobbies, an apron hall and sculptures), the Kuntsevo station of the Moscow-Brest Railway in 1899, Lomakina's Art Nouveau apartment building, the church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Unintended Joy" in Maryina Grove and the ensemble of Moscow Higher Women's courses in Khamovniki, notes NSN.

The work on putting objects under protection will continue next year, and the most valuable monuments will be included in the register, writes Moscow 24. It is also noted that the current list of cultural heritage sites on the open data portal of the Moscow government exceeds 7 thousand items, including archaeological sites, according to the Moscow City News agency.
