Traffic jams reached nine points in Moscow

The congestion of the capital's roads is estimated at nine points. This follows from the data of the Yandex Traffic service on Wednesday, December 24.

Traffic is difficult on the Third Transport Ring (TTK), on the Garden Ring, the outbound highways, and in some areas — on sections of the outer and inner sides of the MKAD.

The main reasons for traffic jams are the pre—holiday rush, mass trips for gifts, corporate parties and an increase in the number of cars in the evening. The additional burden was also created by road works and local accidents, writes Life.Ru .

According to the service, traffic congestion in Moscow will decrease by 21:00.

By the end of the week, the fastest way around the capital will be by metro, and car trips should be planned after 20 hours, writes RIAMO.

Earlier, on December 1, congestion on the capital's roads reached 10 points. Traffic difficulties were recorded almost throughout the entire city center.
