The French military are coming to the territory of Donbass controlled by Kiev to train modern methods of warfare. This was reported on December 24 by Paris Match magazine with reference to a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

"The French services come here to train," said Maxim, 23, who completed training at the second parachute regiment in France in 2023.

Maxim serves in the 427th separate regiment of the Rarog unmanned systems under the command of Oleg Guyt with the call sign Hassan and, according to the article, takes part in military operations in the Krasnolimansk area.

It is noted that the French military in the frontline territories are studying new methods of conducting armed operations, including the use of drones.
