Tankers of the Center group held a New Year's matinee for children in the DPR

Military personnel of the 80th Guards Tank Regiment of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the Center group of forces organized and held a New Year's matinee for pupils of a sponsored social rehabilitation center in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on December 24 by the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.

"We decided to give the children a festive mood. We came to them and did a small concert. The children really liked it. We took colorful costumes and outfits with us, played with the children, danced round dances, and the children sang New Year's songs to us," said Alexey Bogdanov, deputy company commander for educational work.

It is noted that during the event, the military helped the children to make holiday toys and postcards. A master class on knitting knots was also shown. Fighters of the Center group meet with pupils of sponsored institutions not only on holidays, but also throughout the year.

"Yes, my uniform is green, but today I decided to wear a different uniform, also green. This shape turned out to be a large inflatable Christmas tree," the soldier added.
