Another 4.5 million rubles were allocated for the repair of the transition to Metallurgists in Lipetsk

The cost of repairing an underground pedestrian crossing on Metallurg Street in Lipetsk has increased to 25.6 million rubles. The contract for additional work was awarded to the same company that carried out the main repairs, GOROD48 reports.

The cost of the second contract, which provides for waterproofing, wall alignment and repair of a technical room, amounted to 4.5 million rubles. The contractor was the Lipetsk IC company, which handed over the repaired crossing on November 5.

Lipetsk IC won the tender for the repair of the entire underground pedestrian crossing in May 2025. The company was the only bidder and received 21.1 million rubles for its work, which accounted for the initial purchase price.

The workers restored the retaining walls, re-cast the base for three staircases from concrete, updated the rainwater drainage networks, finished the entrances and interior walls, and laid the flooring. The contractor also solved the old problem of water running down the stairs by raising the first steps a few centimeters above the sidewalk level.

Taking into account the additional work, the total cost of reconstruction of the crossing cost the budget 25.6 million rubles.
