The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has completed the investigation of the case against the Muscovite who was preparing the terrorist attack

The Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia has completed the investigation of the criminal case against Andrei Byzov (listed on the register of extremists and terrorists), who was preparing a terrorist attack in the Moscow region on the eve of May 9 on the instructions of the special services of Ukraine. This was reported on December 23 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Telegram channel.

"Having contacted a representative of a terrorist organization, Byzov agreed to commit a terrorist act on May 9, 2025 near a military facility in the Moscow Region for a reward of $5,000 in cryptocurrency. According to the plan of the Ukrainian curators, the accused was supposed to take an explosive device from the cache, install it and remotely activate it," the report says.

The ministry clarified that Byzov is accused of publicly justifying terrorism, participating in a terrorist organization and preparing to commit a terrorist act. The criminal case against Byzov has been transferred to the court for further consideration.

Earlier, Russian and Abkhaz security forces detained a father and daughter in Sochi who were collecting information about the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) and were preparing to take part in the Ukrainian conflict on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The secret service stated that the father and daughter had themselves established contact with the Ukrainian terrorist organization. They received instructions in the messenger, in particular, "they collected information about active servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation."
