A new tourist route for motorists, the Mountain Weekend, has been introduced in the Samara Region. It was developed by Rosneft in cooperation with the regional Ministry of Tourism and the Samara Tourist Information Center.
According to the press service of the oil company, the route connects recreational, educational and sports facilities of the Samara and Saratov regions and is intended for family trips during winter holidays or weekends.
The route can start with a visit to the family aquathermal complex "Volzhsky Thermy", where they offer to relax in the outdoor pools and visit the complex of baths and saunas. The next stop is the children's technopark "Kvantorium — 63 region", where guests will be able to take part in classes on robotics, programming and aircraft construction.
Car travelers can also make a stop to visit the Samara Arena multi-purpose stadium with ski trails, an ice rink and tubing slides. Another point of the route is the Para Alpaca family park on the banks of the Volga River. Here, guests will be offered to attend workshops and seminars, as well as undergo anti-stress alpaca therapy sessions.
The last point of the tourist route is the Cherry Mountain ski resort in Saratov. The resort has trails of various difficulty levels and a children's ski slope.
