SVAO residents collected New Year's gifts for SVO soldiers and children of new regions

Active residents of the Marfino district continue to provide assistance in the special military operation zone. This was announced on December 23 by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on the website mos.ru .

It is noted that the volunteers of the Heart of Marfino group have already produced and sent about 500 camouflage nets, more than 7 thousand trench candles, anti-neural network curtains, camouflage robes and other necessary items.

More than 80 kg of clothes, shoes, stationery, books and a food processor will be sent to pupils of the Mirna regional Center for Socio-psychological rehabilitation of Children.

"There are 40 children in the center for socio-psychological rehabilitation. This institution is sponsored by the volunteers of the Heart of Marfino group. We are constantly sending humanitarian aid to children to provide them with everything they need," said Zinaida Avdoshkina, a member of the community and head of the Marfino municipal District.

It was also clarified that humanitarian parcels will be received by the soldiers of the sponsored battalion "Wolf Pack". The volunteers wove more than 40 camouflage and 18 anti-electronic nets, cast 600 trench candles, and collected other basic necessities. Letters from Moscow schoolchildren will be a valuable gift.

"We were united by the story of Alexey Zapletnyuk, an officer and teacher of the cadet class at school No. 1494 from Marfin. He died heroically in battle on December 2, 2022. A hero's memory corner was organized at the school, and a memorial plaque was installed. Alexey's colleagues were invited to its opening. The parents of the students offered to help the fighters of the Wolf Pack battalion, in which Alexey Zapletnyuk served. Since then, we have been regularly supporting the soldiers of this unit," Avdoshkina shared.

The publication noted that at the moment there are 85 people in the Heart of Marfino group who are actively involved in the manufacture and dispatch of aid to their area.
