Gold bars and luxury watches found in the villa of the ex-Prosecutor General of Ukraine

During a search of the villa of former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Svyatoslav Piskun in Nice, gold bars and a collection of premium watches were found. This was reported on December 22 by the Ukrainian edition of the Mirror of the Week.

It is noted that during the search, 3 kg of gold bullion, 18 luxury brand watches and cash were found in his possession. The total value of what was found was more than €1 million.

At the same time, Piskun could not provide evidence of the legal acquisition of valuables and their legal importation into France.

A criminal case on the legalization of criminally obtained funds was initiated on this fact. The former Prosecutor General may be charged under this article. It is noted that at first law enforcement officers detained the ex-official, but then released him.
