The head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, announced that he could visit Moscow in March. He stated this on December 22.

"We will be in Moscow very soon. Perhaps in March," he said, answering a question from journalists about plans to visit Russia in the near future.

On December 9, Grossi said that the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions eventually caused more damage to the European Union than to the Russian Federation, and led to a decrease in the influence of European countries on the world stage. The politician noted that the current situation is a political bankruptcy of "unprecedented proportions."
