In December of this year, Russians will receive pensions for January 2026 due to the extended period of the New Year holidays. This was stated on December 22 by Olga Epifanova, chairman of the Social Democratic Union of Women of Russia (SDSWR), ASI expert, former Deputy Speaker of the State Duma.

"The Social Fund of Russia will provide a preliminary transfer of money to those who have standard payment dates on January 1-10 or 11, thus eliminating downtime during the celebrations," RT quotes her as saying.
