The victim made an initial payment, after which she was shown a schedule with an increase in profits. Then the woman began to "invest" larger amounts, writes the Bi-port news agency. The Northerner was unable to return the funds and make a profit.

The police have opened a criminal case into the incident.

In the Tula region, a courier of telephone fraudsters took more than 2.6 million rubles from three retired women. The 20-year-old suspect saw an offer for a part-time job in one of the messengers. He took cash from elderly women and had to transfer it to his employers' accounts.
