KAMAZ provided a tractor for filming the series "Trucker"
The KAMAZ company provided a mainline tractor for the filming of the new comedy series "Trucker", which started in the Crimea. This was announced on December 22 on the website of the auto giant.
The main roles in the series were played by Vladimir Epifantsev and Anna Ukolova. According to the story, professional trucker Vitya and his housewife wife Valya decided to switch roles - the first stays at home with the children and runs the household, and the second gets behind the wheel of a tractor. The director of photography was Georgy Danielyants ("Neurovasia", "50 shades of marriage"). The series is scheduled to be released in 2026.
For filming, KAMAZ provided a KAMAZ-54901 tractor coupled to a semi-trailer. According to the idea, the series should show viewers that driving modern Russian trucks is accessible to everyone, regardless of gender. The truck is equipped with a 482 hp six-cylinder inline engine with a volume of 13 liters and a 12-speed robotic gearbox. The tractor is equipped with a multi-steering wheel with cruise control and an on-board information system with a 15.6-inch touchscreen display.
"In addition, the new-generation KAMAZ-54901 K5 is a completely different level of comfort and technology compared to the KAMAZ-54115 model, which the audience remembers from the original series "Truckers" of the 2000s," the company noted.
On December 5, the KAMAZ press service said that it would be possible to see Russian Atom electric vehicles on the roads in the spring of 2026. Atom electric vehicles are planned to be produced in three versions: for private use, taxi and carsharing.
