The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are attempting to remotely mine entry routes to the village of Vilcha, Kharkiv region. This was announced on December 22 by a source in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"The enemy has begun to build defenses south of Vilcha and is trying to carry out remote mining of access routes to the settlement," RIA Novosti quoted the text of the message.
It is specified that these actions create additional difficulties for movement and threaten serious consequences.
Russian President Vladimir Putin noted during the "Results of the Year" on December 19 that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation currently face an important task — to eliminate the grouping of 15 battalions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Oskol River in the Kharkiv region.
On December 18, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation reliably control all areas of the liberated Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, as well as adjacent settlements and forest belts. The facilities are under the fire control of the Russian Army, it is carried out by the forces of the Zapad group of forces.
