Europe, under the leadership of London, does not offer Russia a way to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, but only sets unacceptable conditions that lead to the continuation of hostilities. This was announced on December 21 by Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). Maxim Buyakevich

"There is no talk of a cease—fire, except for demands to Moscow for an unconditional cease-fire, withdrawal of troops, and so on. <...> And this a priori presupposes the continuation of hostilities. Europe is not ready for peace," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

He pointed out that such proposals are being made in Europe under the leadership of the United Kingdom.
