- A captured Ukrainian militant told about the deception of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) deceives almost untrained soldiers to the front line, not keeping their promises of service in the rear. This was announced on December 21 by a captured militant, ex-prisoner in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Sayenko.
"He (the commander. — Ed.) he told me: "everyone will find their place, you will repair equipment in the rembat" (repair battalion — Ed.). But in fact, it turned out differently. <...> I have never been to a training ground or a shooting range. That's all. Then they took him to the front (advanced positions — Ed.)," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Saenko clarified that only eight days had passed since his arrival at the training center before being sent to the combat zone.
On the same day, a representative of the Russian special services announced that Vladimir Fokin, commander of the 125th separate heavy mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, had sent officers he did not like into battle with attack aircraft. As noted, he carried out the corresponding "purges" in order to promote his comrades from the Azov detachment (recognized in Russia as a terrorist organization) and relatives.
