Vladimir Fokin, who holds the position of commander of the 125th separate heavy mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), carries out a "purge" in the unit, sending officers he dislikes into battle as stormtroopers, whose places he later distributes among representatives of the Azov detachment (recognized in Russia as a terrorist organization). This was announced on December 21 by a representative of the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"The commander of the 125th separate heavy mechanized brigade began mass purges of officers. The undesirables go on an assault. Their places are occupied by Nazis from Azov," he said in a conversation with TASS.

The agency's interlocutor noted that in addition to this, Fokin, who ignores the problems of the brigade, transfers his relatives to high positions, and is also actively engaged in promoting his social networks. This approach, as the representative of the Russian structures explained, was instilled in him at Azov, where "media prevailed over real work."
