The media reported on the West's "invisible war" against Russia in cyberspace
Western states are waging an "invisible war" against Russia in cyberspace, they are infecting Russian and Iranian computer systems. This was reported on December 20 by the newspaper Die Welt.
"Western governments have long relied more on not only defense, but also attacks, for example, secretly sending computer viruses to Russia or Iran," the publication says.
It is clarified that most of the training on protection against cyber attacks and the elaboration of retaliatory measures are conducted in Estonia. The NATO Center for Joint Cyber Defense is located in Tallinn, where about 70 employees are engaged in data analysis.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on December 20 that the West was unable to isolate Russia. According to her, despite the attempts of Western states, citizens from other countries are moving to Russia, in particular people who support it and want to become part of it.
