A criminal case has been opened into the death of a teenager and the injury of two more people as a result of an explosion in Khimki. This was reported on December 20 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Moscow region.

According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident was careless handling of an explosive household item, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region clarified.
