- The owner of the Mashenka bakery in Lyubertsy was given a New Year's gift from Putin
Denis Maksimov, the owner of the Mashenka bakery in Lyubertsy, was given a New Year's gift from Russian President Vladimir Putin. The footage is published by Izvestia on December 20.
It is specified that the businessman and his family were given a basket of champagne and jam, but the main gift was a fold with an icon of St. George the Victorious.
Maximov thanked the Russian leader and stressed that it was "the most expensive gift in the history of their family." According to the man, Putin's tasting of their products is also a great honor for him and his family.
On the same day, the head of state received a basket of pastries from the Mashenka bakery. It was clarified that the Russian leader tasted fresh pastries with tea, and also thanked Maximov for the gift. Before that, the owner told Izvestia that he promised to send Putin pies of his own production and bake a wedding loaf.
Earlier, the man addressed the Russian leader during a direct line. The entrepreneur explained that he had been using a convenient patent taxation system for about eight years, but from 2026 he would have to pay income tax and VAT. He also added that for this he would have to hire a professional accountant and incur additional costs.
Responding to Maximov, Putin noted that individual manufacturing businesses should not suffer from the transition to a new tax system, and promised to pay attention to this problem.
