Three more Russian skiers have received neutral status (AIN) from the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS). The updated list of athletes was published on December 17 on the organization's website.

Alexander Andrienko, Semyon Yefimov and Ivan Kuznetsov received the right to participate in international competitions, Sport-Express said.

"FIS has updated the list of athletes and support staff of Russian or Belarusian nationality who have been granted the status of an AIN and who, therefore, are allowed to participate in competitions," the press service said.

The FIS also granted individual neutral athlete status to Russian alpine skier Yulia Pleshkova on December 17, and Russian snowboarder Maria Travinicheva on December 15. Prior to that, on December 10, it became known about the approval of the application of Russian skier Savely Korostelev and skier Daria Nepryaeva for the AIN status.

On December 11, FIS allowed Russian Paralympians to participate in all federation competitions with the national flag and anthem. Representatives of the federation noted that participation would be organized "under the same conditions as those recommended by the International Paralympic Committee, without applying the AIN framework."
