Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, requested a report on the investigation of a criminal case after a resident of the Leningrad Region contacted Russian President Vladimir Putin on a direct line due to the illegal actions of the developer of an apartment building. This was reported on December 19 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia A.I. Bastrykin instructed the head of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Leningrad region to submit a report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case and on the arguments of the appeal," the Telegram channel of the department wrote.
