The deputy explained the essence of the law on the Russian Red Cross

State Duma deputy, Deputy Chairman of the Budget and Taxes Committee Kaplan Panes (LDPR faction) said it was important to adopt a federal law that would significantly strengthen the position of the Russian Red Cross. He told about it in an interview with Izvestia.

"The adoption of the federal law on the Russian Red Cross is a significant event that takes our oldest humanitarian organization to a new level. The law clearly defines the purpose, rights and duties of the RCC, which is extremely important for millions of our citizens who can count on its help," said the deputy.

For the first time at a high legislative level, the new law establishes the special position of the Russian Red Cross as a participant in the international movement and the national relief society.
