Masters will be judged for injuring a child on a slide in Yakutsk

In Yakutsk, a criminal case has been brought to court over the fact that a nine-year-old girl was injured on a playground. Charges were brought against the master of the management company.

According to YakutiaMedia news agency, in May 2024, the company's chief engineer identified a violation at a playground on Peter Alekseev Street. The thickness of the sand covering in the landing area from the slide did not meet the standards. The specialist drew up an act to eliminate violations. However, the master responsible for the maintenance of the common property did not complete the work.

In August, a nine-year-old girl suffered a compression fracture of several thoracic vertebrae and a fractured forearm bone when she fell down a slide. The forensic medical examination characterized the damage to health as severe.

A criminal case was initiated into the provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements for children. The case materials have been sent to the court.
