The Scientific and Expert Council of the Russian Security Council (SB), taking into account the experience of the special military operation (SVO), has prepared proposals on how to improve the protection of people and facilities. This was announced on December 18 by the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, at a plenary meeting of the scientific expert council.

"Taking into account the experience of the special military operation, a number of recommendations and proposals have been developed that are used in the practical activities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, approaches have been worked out to improve military planning, solve problems of protecting the population, industrial enterprises, transport facilities, energy, communications and communications from military dangers and military threats, as well as sabotage and intelligence actions of special services of foreign states. states," the Secretary of the Security Council listed.

He stressed that the issues of ensuring technological sovereignty in the creation of samples of weapons, military and special equipment, promising areas of application of photonics technologies in the military sphere were also considered.

"Special attention has been paid to the study of the use of artificial intelligence in the military and civilian spheres, and the concept of creating an Artificial Intelligence Center in the Angara-Yenisei macroregion has been developed," Shoigu said.

On December 17, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov announced that more than 90% of the wounded arriving from the battlefield during the military operation could be saved thanks to rapid evacuation. The Defense Minister also added that six new hospitals will be built in 2025, including in Kursk and the Bryansk region, which will increase the bed capacity by 1,000 units and will provide assistance to 20,000 wounded per year.
