The world Court fined the Telegram messenger for 6 million rubles.
The World Court of the Tagansky district of Moscow fined the Telegram messenger 6 million rubles for non-compliance with the instructions of Roskomnadzor. This was reported to Izvestia on December 18 by the court's press service.
"Telegram Messenger Inc. was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Articles 19.7.10-4 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation," the court clarified.
It is noted that the messenger did not comply with the requirements of the authority responsible for control and supervision in the field of mass communications.
Shortly before that, the court found the Twitch and Pinterest services guilty of violating Russian law. According to the verdict, the services were fined 6 million rubles each.
