Izvestia photographers became winners of the "Professions of Modern Russia" competition

The results of the "Professions of Modern Russia" competition have been summed up: out of 1,100 submitted works, the jury selected 24 best ones. Izvestia's photographers were among the winners.

The report by photojournalist Eduard Kornienko took the second place in the nomination "People in the profession", as well as the third place in the Labor Process category. His colleague Sergey Lantyukhov took the third place in the nomination "Means of labor".

The competition brings together photographers who know how to see beauty and power in human work, and supports authors whose images help preserve traditions and enhance the prestige of professions. "Professions of modern Russia" is a photo contest about working people, where the authors show the importance of professions through photographs, as well as pay tribute to those who create and move the country forward.

From December 24, 2025 to January 15, 2026, the Moscow exhibition space Foto-one will host an exhibition of works by the winners of the photo contest "Professions of Modern Russia".
