On December 18, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, commenting on the topic of the upcoming summit of the European Union (EU) countries, assured that no one would leave the meeting until the issue of financing Ukraine for next year was resolved.
Von der Leyen added that the issue of expropriation (forced withdrawal) of Russia's assets frozen in Europe under the guise of a so-called reparation loan to Ukraine also remains on the summit's agenda.
