Spelling errors in the name and patronymic of Soviet and Russian pop singer Philip Kirkorov, made in the wanted list of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), legally indicate that this is another person, so they will not be able to detain the artist. This was announced on December 18 by lawyer Dmitry Agranovsky.

"The SBU misstated the name and patronymic of the Russian singer and there is no photo, which means that technically this is a completely different person. In any country where the law is respected, Kirkorov cannot be detained," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to Agranovsky, such mistakes indicate the incompetence of the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.

On December 16, the SBU put Kirkorov on the wanted list. It is noted that information about the artist's search appeared on October 30 of this year. In turn, Kirkorov said that the SBU decided to "make noise" on his big name when it put him on the wanted list.
