A car hit and killed a pedestrian in the capital's Vnukovo district. This was reported in the press service of the Moscow Department of the State Traffic Inspectorate on Wednesday, December 17.

According to preliminary data, the driver of a Volkswagen car hit a pedestrian who was moving along the roadway in the area of house 4 on Samuel Marshak Street.

"The pedestrian died on the spot from his injuries," the department told the Moscow City News agency.
