Georgia has adopted a law on the abolition of the Anti-Corruption Bureau
In the third and final reading, the Georgian Parliament adopted a law according to which the Anti-Corruption Bureau, established on the recommendation of the European Union (EU) in 2022, will be abolished. The voting was conducted live, published on the website of the legislative body.
After the signing by Georgian President Mikhail Kavelashvili, the document will enter into force, and the bureau will cease its activities on March 2, 2026.
