The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation forbade the driver to operate mechanics without a thumb

Motorists who do not have a thumb on their right hand are prohibited from driving vehicles with a manual transmission. This was announced on December 17 by the press service of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

It is clarified that the court rejected the claim of a resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, who tried to challenge one of the items on the official list of medical examinations.

"The norms contained in the list of medical indications for driving a vehicle are designed to ensure comprehensive safety on the roads," the Telegram channel said.
