The court seized assets worth 3 billion rubles from the family of the ex-head of the Krasnodar Department of Internal Affairs

Land plots and premises, as well as shares in the ownership of real estate, were confiscated from the family of former Krasnodar policemen Olga and Alexander Semenov in favor of the state. This was reported on December 17 in the Telegram channel of the united press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory.

It is specified that Semenov, using his official powers in the internal affairs bodies of the Krasnodar Territory, has been illegally seizing land plots and building commercial real estate since 2005, including a hotel, retail space, bases for large machinery and a gas station. In addition, he created and acquired nine profitable commercial organizations that have concluded more than 450 municipal contracts worth 2.4 billion rubles.

Semyonov and his wife used nominal owners to hide their property from the authorities. As a result, the court decided to confiscate their assets, including land, buildings and shares in commercial enterprises, as well as shares in the authorized capital of companies. In order to enforce the court's decision, the property was seized, and any administrative actions with it were prohibited.

"The court converted the property belonging to the defendants into state income: eight land plots and shares in ownership of five land plots; nine residential and 13 non—residential buildings and premises, as well as shares in ownership of 11 non-residential buildings and premises," the report says.

On the same day, it was reported about the confiscation of corrupt assets of the former head of the Federal Tax Service (FTS) for Ingushetia, Magomed Kushtov, in favor of the state. The lawsuit states that former officials of the Federal Tax Service for Ingushetia committed a crime that resulted in damage to the Russian budget in the amount of 137.1 million rubles.
