The Russian Foreign Ministry expresses its condolences to Tajikistan, the relatives of the deceased and those injured in the attack of a teenager with a knife on the Uspenskaya secondary school in Gorki-2. This was announced on December 17 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

A teenager was attacked with a knife at a school in Odintsovo city district on December 16. One student was killed in the incident. According to the Izvestia source, there were no metal detectors in the educational institution. Upon learning of the incident, the teachers conducted an urgent evacuation.
Later it became known about the arrest of the attacker. The injured were taken to the L.M. Roshal Children's Scientific and Clinical Center. A criminal case was opened into the incident. During the interrogation, the attacker had previously admitted his guilt in the crime.
Andrey Vorobyov, the governor of the Moscow Region, called for an analysis of everything that led to the tragedy at the Odintsovo school. According to him, it is necessary to make sure that what happened does not happen again.
Anatoly Vyborny, deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption, noted in an interview with Izvestia that, of course, after the attack at the Odintsovo school, an assessment of the actions of the security organization employee would be given.
