Sobyanin spoke about the support of the families of the participants on New Year's Eve

Moscow authorities have prepared a New Year's program and gifts for the families of participants in the special military operation (SVO), said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

In particular, sweets and tickets to the Mayor's Christmas Tree in Gostiny Dvor have been prepared for children aged three to 13, and holiday packages have been prepared for veterans who have completed their service, spouses and parents of the participants. "Each family is pre-contacted by a curator from the New Year's contact center in order to coordinate a convenient time for delivery or arrange pickup from a Single support center for participants of the SVO and their family members," Sobyanin wrote on his channel in the MAX.

The mayor also said that in December, festive performances and creative workshops are held in the Unified Center. For example, there will be a New Year's concert by pupils of the Diana Gurtskaya Center for Social Integration and an interactive family event with festive activities.

A large-scale cultural program has been organized for the participants of the SVO and their family members. It includes, in particular, performances on the stages of Moscow theaters and festival venues, events in libraries and cultural centers, as well as in the Moskino Film Park. There will be guided tours of the A. Shilov Gallery and the memorial apartments of the V.V. Mayakovsky State Museum, as well as an inspection of expositions and exhibitions at the A.S. Pushkin State Museum.

Sports enthusiasts will be able to visit the new ice rink in Luzhniki and the Vorobyovy Gory ski complex for free throughout the winter. From December to March, participants and their family can also receive priority registration for sports events of the winter season, from master classes with famous figure skaters to a ski race.
