Belousov announced a twofold reduction in Ukraine's energy capacity

Ukraine's energy capacity has more than halved. This was announced on December 17 by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov.

He noted that more than 70% of thermal power plants and 37% of hydroelectric power plants providing energy to the military industry and the army of Ukraine were disabled. In particular, the effectiveness of pinpoint strikes by the Russian Armed Forces is about 60%: "an order of magnitude higher" than the effectiveness of strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the territory of the Russian Federation.
