The transfer of the Krasny Estuary under the control of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation opens the way for the lockdown of Slavyansk, the most important logistics center for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced on December 17 by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov.
He noted that at the moment there are also battles for Konstantinovka and called this city the key to the Druzhkovsko-Kramatorsko-Slavyanskaya agglomeration. According to him, taking control of this border will allow the liberation of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) in a short time.
