A court in the Moscow region will consider a robbery case against rapper Gufa.
The Naro-Fominsk Court of the Moscow Region will begin considering the case against rap artist Gufa (real name Alexey Dolmatov), accused of robbery, the court's press service told Izvestia on December 17.
"On October 23, 2024, Dolmatov and Gevorg Sarukhanyan stole an Apple iPhone 14 Pro mobile phone from the victim in the premises of a sauna and wellness complex located in the Naro-Fominsk city district," the court clarified.
They added that Sarukhanyan twisted and held the victim's hands, and the rapper made threats and hit the victim in the face several times.
They were charged under paragraphs "a, d" of Part 2 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Robbery, that is, open theft of other people's property, committed by a group of persons by prior agreement, using violence that is not dangerous to life and health, and with the threat of such violence"). They face up to seven years in prison.
"Currently, a preventive measure has been chosen against the rapper in the form of a subscription not to leave and proper behavior," the court stressed.
On November 22, 2024, released from the rehabilitation center for addicts (rehab), Guf performed at a concert in Moscow with an electronic bracelet. Before that, on October 23, a conflict occurred in the Moscow region with Dolmatov's participation. A rapper near one of the bars hit a man on the head.
A criminal case has been opened, and Gevorg Sarukhanyan is also involved in the case. The Board of Directors ordered the musician to ban certain actions, and on October 29 last year it became known that the rapper was wearing an electronic bracelet. Later, the singer's sister reported that her brother was undergoing rehabilitation at the clinic. On November 20, the rapper's lawyer said that the prohibition of certain actions does not prohibit him from conducting touring and concert activities. Later, the bracelet was removed from the rapper.
