For the 15th time, the anniversary Ceremony of awarding the winners of the Time for Innovation Award brought together leading companies from Russia and the CIS. The award and the forum of the same name were held in Tashkent on December 11-12 and were dedicated to advanced developments in various industries. "Evening Moscow" was awarded for the best project among the media and mass communications to promote innovation in the field of industry.

The editorial board of VM presented a series of works on the modern industry of the capital. Today, there are about 4,600 different enterprises operating in the city, and every tenth working Muscovite is employed in the industrial sector. At the same time, the range of metropolitan products is clearly described by the phrase "from sweets to rockets", there are so many different industries and manufacturers in the metropolis. To a large extent, the strengthening of Russia's technological sovereignty depends on their success. VM regularly introduces readers to innovative products and technologies from Moscow factories, talks about the construction of industrial sites, and the training of "workers of the future." All this resonated with the expert jury of the award.

Rostelecom, Aeroflot, ROSSETI, Sber, and the HSE Online Campus are also among the laureates.

The informal motto of the forum and the award is "For everyone who wants to look into the future." And this is no coincidence. After all, directors of innovation, digital technologies and marketing of well-known corporations (banking sector, fuel and energy complex, IT giants and others), startup creators and investors, business owners gather here. The event provides an opportunity to get to know first-hand business cases that are not publicly available. This year, two new awards were presented at the forum — "Leaders of Cybersecurity" and "Biotech: New Horizons".

"In the digital age, when cyber threats are becoming more complex and their consequences for the economy and national security are becoming more widespread, it is necessary to study and scale successful practices in the field of information protection," the organizing committee of the Time for Innovation forum noted.

In turn, biotechnologies are opening up new paths for human development today: from defeating hereditary diseases to food security and environmental protection. Biotech is one of the fastest growing promising industries. The new award is designed to find and celebrate developments that improve people's quality of life and contribute to global progress.
