Temporary flight restrictions were introduced at Russian airports in two cities at once — Krasnodar and Tambov. This was announced on Wednesday night, December 17, by Artem Korenyako, a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency.

"Krasnodar (Pashkovsky) Airport, Tambov (Donskoye). Temporary restrictions have been introduced (additional restrictions in the case of Krasnodar airport) on the reception and release of aircraft. Restrictions are necessary to ensure flight safety," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Korenyako noted that the restrictions were adopted for flight safety.

The day before, a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency announced the introduction of time restrictions in Yaroslavl's airways. These measures were later lifted. It was clarified that the restrictions were imposed to ensure flight safety.
