The verdict of the Kiev court to sentence former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, who held this position from 2010 to 2014, to 15 years in prison has entered into force. This was announced on December 16 by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General of the country.

"15 years in prison: the verdict of former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych has entered into force. <...> The Kiev Court of Appeal rejected the appeals of the defense and upheld the verdict of the Podolsk District Court of Kiev," the department said in a Telegram channel.
