Stoloto announced the winners of the second stage of the NGO Grant Competition
Four non-profit organizations have won the second stage of the annual Stoloto grant competition. They will receive 600 thousand rubles each for charity projects, Stoloto said.
"We are pleased that the Stoloto grant program has been helping to solve important social problems for the fifth year in a row. During this time, 34 charity projects across the country have received support. This year, we note an increase in trust and interest from NGOs — 360 applications were received for the Stoloto grant competition, which is 48 more than a year earlier. Traditionally, the main beneficiaries will be children left without parental care, the elderly, people with disabilities, as well as projects aimed at developing inclusive sports," said the Director of Sponsorship and CSR at S8 Capital Holding (which includes Stoloto) Oksana Tubman.
One of the winners of the second stage of the competition was the Dandelion Children's hospice located in Donetsk. He will receive a grant for the implementation of the project "Caring Space", which is aimed at solving the problem of the lack of systematic and comprehensive support for families with palliative care.
Financial support will also be provided to the Zhatai Technical School in Yakutsk, which promotes the program "Education for all: value for the disabled and people with disabilities." The grant will be used to purchase special audiovisual teaching tools: adapted textbooks, tactile posters, audio speakers that will help students with hearing and visual impairments in their studies.
In addition, the charity foundation "Beautiful Far Away" in Novorossiysk is among the winners. The funds received will be used to provide single pensioners who find themselves in a difficult life situation with hot dinners.
Also on the list is the family creative integration development center "Attraction" in Angarsk. The grant will help the organization to implement the project "Adaptive football for children with mental disabilities."
