The regime of unfavorable meteorological conditions (NMR) of the first degree of danger was introduced in Norilsk from 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16. It will last until 19:00 on Wednesday, December 17th.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, for residents, such warnings signal the possibility of light smog, haze and unpleasant odors.

The NMU or "black sky" regime is a short—term special combination of weather factors in which pollutants accumulate in the surface air layer.
