The Moscow authorities plan to update dozens of educational institutions every year under the My School program. The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, told about this in his channel MAX.

After the reconstruction, 55 buildings have already been opened as part of the program. Schools are changing not only the facades and interiors of buildings, but also their technical content, the mayor noted. In particular, all engineering systems are being fully updated. "Children should study in bright and comfortable spaces," Sobyanin wrote.

In total, 13.5 km of water supply networks and more than 5 km of wastewater disposal were repaired and laid during the modernization. Transformer substations were also built and more than 186 km of cable lines were equipped.

Sobyanin stressed that all work is carried out using modern special equipment and technologies. When updating schools, specialists use materials from domestic production.

Earlier, the mayor of the capital announced that more than 120-130 schools will be put into operation and reconstructed in Moscow every year. The renovation of each educational institution should take up to 12 months, Sobyanin noted.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
