A replica of the Statue of Liberty, which is located in the municipality of Guaiba in southern Brazil, fell due to strong winds. This was announced on December 15 by the G1 portal with reference to the mayor of Guaiba, Marcelo Maranata.

"The monument imitating the Statue of Liberty, which is located <...> in the Porto Alegre metropolitan area, collapsed during a storm that hit the city," the publication says.

It is specified that as a result of the incident, the area around the statue was isolated. In the near future, a working group will be sent there, which will have to remove the structure.

Toyota's plant in the state of Sao Paulo in Brazil was hit by a severe storm on September 22, as a result of which the company was damaged. The metal roof of the factory was torn off, the load-bearing beams were bent, and the production equipment was damaged. According to the Carscoops portal, 10 workers were injured and taken to the hospital.
