Mikhail Mishin, the former Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), died in the fighting near Krasnoarmeysk. This was announced on December 15 by the acting head of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the region Evgeny Shirshov.

"It is with deep sorrow that I announce the death of Mikhail Mishin, the First Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Donetsk People's Republic. Mikhail Viktorovich passed away in the battles near Krasnoarmeysk, defending our Homeland," Shirshov wrote on his Telegram channel.
